Bilingual Event Marketing: Slope Stability 2026, Lima

Challenge / Objective

Slope Stability 2026 in Lima was a key conference for SkyGeo’s mining business, with prospects in both Latin America and North America. The objective was to drive visibility and meetings in two languages, and to make the cost and return of SkyGeo’s events easier to see.

Workstreams

  • Ran separate email campaigns in Spanish for Latin America and in English for North America, built in Squarespace Email Campaigns and personally reviewed before every send.

  • Produced English and Spanish announcement graphics, presentation-day posts, a stage image and post-event celebration content.

  • Built a bilingual campaign plan with targeting, UTM tracking and attribution controls.

  • Used the self-service Event Post Builder so colleagues could publish consistent “meet us at” posts.

  • Created a 2026 events calendar with abstract deadlines, owners, costs and participation status.

  • Simplified the event ROI tracker to six core fields after the CEO found the detailed version too hard to complete.

Results

  • A complete campaign in two languages, from announcement to post-event follow-up.

  • Sends set up with UTM tracking, so event activity can be tied to enquiries.

  • An ROI tracker simple enough that the team actually completes it.

Bottom Line

Event marketing pays off when it is planned around the audience and measured afterwards. This campaign reached two regions in their own language and put simple accountability around event spend.
