Case Study
Scaling Brand Consistency with AI-Built Production Tools
Challenge / Objective
SkyGeo has a small marketing team and a steady stream of design requests: event announcements, photo treatments, carousels and decks. Every request that waited for design slowed the team down, and AI-generated material tended to drift off-brand. The objective was to make the brand easy to apply correctly, by anyone, without adding headcount.
Workstreams
Built an Event Post Builder: a self-service browser tool where colleagues enter the event details, add up to four headshots and download a finished, on-brand LinkedIn image.
Turned the website’s image rule (a slanted brand gradient on section images, plain hero images) into a Slant Tool that applies the brand’s diagonal device to any photo and exports it at full resolution.
Designed twelve LinkedIn carousel formats, each with notes on when to use it and why it works, and one-click PDF and PNG export.
Codified SkyGeo’s colours, typography, diagonal device and tagline into a Claude brand skill, so AI-generated assets start on-brand instead of being corrected afterwards.
Created a presentation compliance checker that grades decks slide by slide, tested it with the CEO on a live deck and refined it to his feedback.
Set up a coded deck system for management reports, with reusable components and visual QA on every rebuild.
Results
Event posts produced in minutes by non-designers, without design software.
Twelve reusable carousel formats and a brand definition that AI tools apply by default.
One audit of a conference deck surfaced 45 actionable fixes, slide by slide.
Standalone tools that run in a browser, so the team is not tied to a design licence or a subscription.
Bottom Line
Brand consistency scales when the rules are built into the tools people use. Using AI as a build assistant, I turned brand guidelines into working products that save time and keep output on-brand.
