2002–2004
As Founder of Pressing Relations, I built a niche PR agency focused on music, fashion, and culture-led brands. At a time when digital disruption was reshaping the media landscape, we blended traditional press with emerging digital and event-led strategies to position clients in culturally relevant ways.
I developed end-to-end campaign strategies for independent fashion labels, music artists, event producers, and consumer lifestyle brands. From national press outreach to artist launches and pop-up events, I helped clients cut through the noise with media placements, influencer seeding, and storytelling that tapped into youth culture.
Pressing Relations was both a creative playground and a commercial venture. I led all strategy, client servicing, media relations, and reporting. I worked with stylists, editors, DJs, producers, and marketers—creating multi-sensory campaigns that built reputations and triggered results. Notably, I helped one client secure a Top 40 UK single through PR-led grassroots engagement.
